I come from Belgium and I had the chance to work in Saint-Petersburg thanks to an organization for unemployed people in my home country.
My situation is in some way special, because I arrived without the help of Maria and we met in different conditions as planned. She had to find an internship and a flat for me in a very short period of time, which she successfully did.
I currently work as a “marketing assistant” at the “ANO — North-West Development and Investment Promotion Agency”. The work that was given to me is unfortunately not the one I expected at first, but I talked to Maria and the manager, and he figured out something a bit more interesting. I basically translate information from foreign languages to Russian and the other way around.
Concerning my flat, I just love it! It is located in the very center and I have access to all kind of means of transportation. The babushka with whom I live is lovely and we don’t bother each other. The flat looks like a museum; it is furnished with old stuff, it is dusty and typical, and the floor makes heavy noises. I have all the comfort needed and I’m happy to live in such a place!
As for Maria, she is one of the nicest and most competent Russians I have met. She organizes all kinds of meetings for us and always reacts quickly to any problem. She did make my stay more pleasant than it actually was!Book the same
