Foreign citizens are usually required to have a visa to enter Russia with several exceptions:

  • Unlimited stay without a visa: Belarus.
  • Non-visa stay of up to 90 days within each 180 days period can be granted to citizens of Azerbaijan, Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, Cuba, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru, Ukraine, Uruguay, Fiji, Chile, Ecuador, the Republic of South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.
  • Non-visa stay of up to 30 days: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Mongolia, Serbia, Seychelles.
  • Non-visa stay of up to 60 days: The Republic of Korea, Mauritius.

In case you did not find your country in the list of countries above, it means you will need a visa to Russia and an official letter of invitation for visa application. ProfIntern will provide you with a corresponding letter of invitation as a part of visa support included into your program package.

Depending on the length of your Program and its content, ProfIntern can send you different letters of invitation: tourist, student, business or humanitarian. You will discuss the visa type most suitable for your program during the Skype call with your ProfIntern program advisor.
